Journal Policies

1- Plagiarism Policy

Corresponding authors are responsible for ensuring the originality of their submitted manuscripts.

All submitted manuscripts are rigorously checked for plagiarism.

The editorial team is committed to identifying and addressing plagiarism and other forms of misconduct, including fraud, and will issue corrections, clarifications, retractions, or apologies as warranted.

The publisher is committed to monitoring and addressing plagiarism and data fabrication.

All manuscripts undergo initial plagiarism screening using iThenticate.

In the rare event that a published manuscript is found to contain plagiarism, the authors will be notified, their names may be blacklisted, the manuscript will be immediately retracted, and a notice of retraction will be published on the journal's website.

2- Definition of Plagiarism

Plagiarism encompasses various forms of academic misconduct, including:

Presenting ideas or words without proper citation.

Copying text verbatim, in whole or in part, without attribution.

Paraphrasing ideas while retaining the original author's writing style.

Using figures, images, or tables without proper citation or permission.

Submitting work that has been rewritten by another author but retains substantial textual similarity.

Self-plagiarism, which is the reuse of the author's own previously published work without appropriate citation.

3- Publication Fee Policy

There are no fees for author registration. Authors must provide complete and accurate registration information, including details for all co-authors, to ensure effective communication. If a manuscript is submitted by a representative, a signed permission letter from all authors, including the corresponding author, must accompany the submission; otherwise, the manuscript will be rejected.

There are no fees for manuscript submission. Authors are advised to carefully review the Author Guidelines and journal scope before submission.

Literary editing of accepted manuscripts is provided free of charge by the publisher. All scientifically accepted manuscripts undergo professional literary editing.

4- Publication and Copyright Policy

All articles are published under an open access license, allowing authors and readers to download and use the content with proper attribution.

Authors retain copyright to their work and are encouraged to archive the published version on personal, institutional, or disciplinary repositories to maximize visibility and citations.

Authors are permitted to reuse the abstract and citation information (e.g., title, author names, publication dates) in any medium, including social media platforms (e.g., Instagram, LinkedIn, Academia, ResearchGate, Facebook, Wikipedia, blogs, and Twitter), provided that a link to the article on the journal's website is included, preferably using the Digital Object Identifier (DOI).

For commercial or individual requests to sell paper or electronic versions of articles, permission must be obtained by contacting the journal or the publisher.

5- Benefits of Open access

Open access publication significantly enhances the visibility and impact of scholarly research. Polymer Insights leverages these benefits to maximize the dissemination and influence of published work.

Studies consistently demonstrate that open access articles receive, on average, 1.6 times more citations than non-open access articles across diverse disciplines, reflecting increased academic recognition.

Open access articles experience a four-fold increase in download rates compared to non-open access articles, facilitating wider access and utilization of research findings.

Open access publications exhibit a 2.5-fold increase in Altmetric attention, including a 1.9-fold increase in news media mentions and a 1.2-fold increase in policy references. This heightened visibility amplifies research impact beyond traditional academic circles.
